Meet Jamie AnneJamie is an artist based in Utah and has been making art in her home studio for over 20 years. She is currently working on her bachelors degree in Children's book illustration through RMCAD (Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design).She loves making others smile with cozy and simple illustrations. Outside of drawing she spends her time playing video games, knitting, crocheting, and dying eggs known as Pysanky.Her inspiration comes from folk art, animals, and small details or patterns that she sees in nature. Her art is mostly made digitally with a bit of watercolor mixed in from time to time. She also likes to work with ink and fountain pens.Her oldest child is non-verbal and when he was younger she would often use pictures to help communicate with him. This journey combined with her own neurodivergence has led her to love drawing images that can speak to children no matter how they communicate.
